Gets the job done...BUT

Developer...PLEASE PLEASE disable(or allow the user disable) the auto-brightness adjustment that maxes out the brightness on my phone in the morning. Its super annoying, and doesnt do anything to make the ticket more visible to the driver. The only thing it accomplishes is blinding everyone.

Easily the worst app on my phone

I wonder if the people who wrote this app actually use it. Nearly half the time it will freeze up when the conductor asks for your ticket. Be prepared to miss trains because the ticket randomly wont pop up. Im switching to paper, bad for the environment but really no choice. Paper wont randomly crash, have constant issues with the perspective, or refuse to show the ticket you paid so much for.

The paypal feature hasnt worked for me for months. Ive called the hotlines and tried to get help to no avail. This app used to be great when PayPal worked successfully. It has a problem when you enter your password and then freezes. PLEASE fix this bug.

Garbage and neglect

Clearly this app was written by an intern and has not been updated since. Besides the fact that its ugly, this app is full of bugs and annoyances. The app has an incredibly annoying bug where it gets confused between landscape and horizontal orientation with a monthly train pass. This happens pretty much every time you open the app because the monthly pass is the first thing that shows when you launch the app. Double clicking the home button temporarily resolves the screen orientation until you open it back up. App functionality is limited. No offline mode which is disappointing since train tunnels and train routes are spotty for service. If the app pulls down departure times in "departure vision," why cant I go to another screen and back and still see the departure times without the app having to reload? This should be cached. Also, no rail maps or delay notifications.

Outdated

this hasnt been updated in a while.. doest even fit the screen properly everything is zoomed.. and for a travel app there is no maps lol. Bad.. very bad

No weekly option

Does not have an option to buy weekly tickets. Makes no sense.

Unable to transfer inactive tickets between personal and work iPhones.

I usually carry two phones during the week, a personal iPhone7 and a work iPhone6s. Depending on if the battery is low, I may use the alternate phone to bring up my ticket. I go through the procedure of deleting the NJtransit app and reinstalling. Sometimes it works but lately it seems like my inactive tickets are stuck on my 6s. Please fix this issue. @ridetheferry lets me store my tickets in cloud and pull them up on either phone no problem.

Inaccurate and Oudated

The features are there. They are inaccurate. I had better information using trip planner with google maps. Cant buy tickets using Apple Pay. You can tell by the keyboard that this was designed for iPhone 4. That was a long time ago. They need to start from scratch.

One Zone ticket

Cant buy one zone ticket.

Cant pay with paypal

Cant make the payment using paypal.

Have not been able to log in in months. Freezes while authenticating password. I have tickets that I'm unable to use. This has happened before but this is the longest stretch that it has failed consistently

Paypal not working, I logged off a few times, still asked for my PayPal info but telling me I put in the incorrect info, sooo annoying pls fix this problem.

PAYPAL PAY FUNCTION STOPPED WORKING

Continually fails to login. Same problem from 6 months ago. Stop "updating" the app if every update causes the same regression.

Good Ap

I found this Ap to be very easy to use. Once it is loaded, it makes buying and using e-tickets a breeze

Glitches

Incredibly glitchy app. Often freezes or fails to load just when I need to show it to the bus driver. Other times the ticket just disappears and I have to log back into the app. Have had to resent my password while standing on the bus as it is in motion just so that I could access my ticket.

Worst

Horrible optimize! Port authority has NO signal sometimes. This freaking app need internet, some times feel so weird to stand in front of driver and waiting for the app loads my ticket for few minutes!

Crash dummy

App keeps crashing so embarrassing not being able to show the train conductor my ticket

Great app!

I have a iPhone 5, and this app works perfectly. Its never crashed on me before, Ive been using it for a month so maybe there has been an update. I strongly recommend using this app. Its easy to purchase a bus pass. It also displays the upcoming schedule for the next bus. This is a necessity especially if you are more of a digital person. This is a great app!
