NJ TRANSIT Mobile App App Reviews

This is probably the worst app I have ever used. Numerous crashes, no integration with Apple Wallet, and device restrictions that make no sense whatsoever. I hate taking NJ Transit because of this app.

App wont register a new account. This cost me $5 since I had to buy a ticket on the train. What a waste.

To fix app after update, delete and reinstall app. Hopefully you dont find this out on the train in a dead zone.

Im on the train trying to purchase my ticket and the app keeps crashing. Fix this!!

Do not download, it will crash and all your tickets are inaccessible!!!!!

Please put back the iPhone screen brightness after app lose focus. But then, NJT never listens to suggestions. They do these surveys but they never implement any ideas.

Maybe another review about failed sign in will get NJT and Company to submit a fix. Until then, 1 star!

Just like every other aspect of NJ Transit, this app does not do the job its supposed to do. Crashes every time you try to buy a ticket.

Shuts down every time I try to log in.

Had the app, deleted it because it kept crashing. Now it will not download at all. Get it together NJ Transit and fix this ASAFP!!!

An unreliable app. Had problems before. Today, app would not display ticket even though it said ticket was active. Had to buy a second paper ticket on board. Caveat Emptor. Be way of this app.

Tried to buy tickets and app keeps crashing. Guess Im out $5 for buying on the train now.

At one point this app worked amazingly well and very convenient. Unfortunately, after one of the updates, the app no longer works. Its unfortunate and that it hasnt worked in the past six months. Frankly I dont think New Jersey transit even cares.

Pros- - View Schedules - buy tickets - view live Train Board Cons- - Ticket should be available when connectivity is lost. (Doesnt happen often, but if the conductor asks to see your ticket and you are in a dead spot, youre hosed) - Wish my favorite schedule would automatically display instead of manually requesting the two stops)

I love when the train schedules are wrong. Id expect nothing less from new jersey

Whatever you did, undo it. You shouldnt have to uninstall and reinstall the app just to get it to "work". I assume you have a team of people (or one poor soul) in charge of this thing so what exactly are they doing? Figure it out.

Crashes when trying to login to buy and activate tickets.

This app is HORRIBLE, it crashes every time I try to use it. My phone is up to date with latest OS and app updates, but this app keeps crashing. Whenever I need it most (like purchasing ticket on phone, so I can go straight to bus gate), it inevitably FAILS!

What is wrong with this app? Tried using it this morning and it is giving me connection problems/ system error when trying to log in. I had to pay for my ticket on the train, which is MUCH more expensive. Please fix this app!
